My first year out of college I got the opportunity to do an awesome internship. It made me get out of my comfort zone, it challenged my way of thinking, and it brought up a lot of questions for me regarding who I was and who I wanted to be.
But hindsight is 20/20I can really only say all this looking backwards, because in the midst of the year I easily forgot who I was.
I was busy catering to my new environment. I was busy doing the job that I was hired to do. I was busy trying to be what everyone else told me to be.
As it turns out, getting lost is pretty easy.
What I needed most was a reminder of who I was – not a mirror, or my drivers license, but a jumpstart that brought me back to remember who God made me to be.
